2017 Something luscious just before christmas... let's get cooking again!



Welcome back to the Peartree Lane Cooking Experience, led by Penny Wenlock and ably assisted by Annie Smale.

I am so delighted to say that the Earthquake repairs are completed and the house is now looking splendid and we are ready to start cooking again!

We would love to offer you a chance to enjoy the house again, to enjoy more lovely food ideas, a chance to talk together and enjoy a glass of wine with lunch in the courtyard surrounded by roses and birdsong.

Saturday October 28th OR Sunday October 29th THE LUSCIOUS SPRING LUNCH (Inspired by Ottolenghi)

  • Tomato and Almond Tart
  • Maple Glazed Salmon Skewers
  • Aubergine and Lemon Risotto
  • Chicken Saltimbocca
  • Spring Salad
  • Chickpea, Feta, Cumin and Mint warm Salad
  • Baked Egg custard w/ Hot Grapes

Saturday December 9th OR Sunday December 10th THE CHRISTMAS PLATTER DAY

  • Asparagus w/ slow roast tomatoes, mushrooms and Hollandaise (the very best start to Christmas morning !)
  • Citrus Cured Salmon Gravlax
  • Green Olive Tapenade
  • Chilli Pepper Beef Fillet
  • Salmon and Caper Filos
  • Chicken Vol-au-vents
  • Shaved Cucumber and Pomegranate Salad
  • Strawberry Tart
  • The best Mincemeat ever

On arriving at 10 am we start with a coffee and a little something.

This is time to say Hello and talk about what we will be doing during the day.

The day finishes about 3pm-ish having watched everything being made, having tasters along the way and enjoying a glass of wine and lunch together around the big table.

You will leave Peartree Lane with a little sample box, copies of each of the recipes and brimming with inspiration!

The cost for the day is $95 and we can cater for up to 12 people.
