A month after the earthquake and Peartree Lane Cooking Experience is up and running again.
The house did sustain quite a bit of damage, but the lovely old girl has strong bones. Being timber framed, the structure of the building has remained upright and steady. The 150 year old plaster lining the older part of the house all came off and there will be a bit of time spent rebuilding that .
The good news for the cooking school is that the kitchen and the courtyard are all cleaned up and ready for action.
I am sorry to those who had their classes cancelled, and have rescheduled the Luscious Summer Lunch to Sunday 10th April.

Sunday May 1st Italian Dinner Day
Sunday May 15th Luscious Winter Lunch
Sunday June 5th Scones, Soups, Chutneys and Pies
Sunday June 19th Luscious Winter Lunch
The day starts at 10am and finishes about 3.30pm.
The cost is $85 per person which includes a luscious lunch together, a glass of wine and all the recipes to take home.
